Responsibilities include: • Rework all panel types using techniques and equipment in an efficient manner • Hand forming prototype panels from flat sheet metal and aluminium • Welding, bolting, riveting using hand and power tools • Trimming, filing, grinding, de-burring and metal finishing surfaces • Ensuring panel quality requirements and checks are carried out as required • Highlighting and supporting any continuous improvement activities / opportunities • Adapting to new technologies and techniques • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s quality accreditation • Liaising with other departments, customers and suppliers if required Your working week will be 37.5 hours and will be reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. You MUST have Sheet Metal City & Guilds qualification and experience working with a Manufacturing or Automotive company
