Description of the Job A great opportunity has arisen in Airbus UK for someone to join the Broughton Plant Programme Organisation as a Configuration and Product Development (CPD) Project Leader. Project Role As the successful candidate the core of your role will be a responsibility for leading and driving design modifications through the Airbus Change Process. You will act as a direct representative for the DOZM team within the SA Programme, working closely with the Plant Engineering Team (IAW) and DOV organisations, as well as with various transnational Programme teams and Stakeholders. As the Project Leader, you will be accountable for the delivery of projects, from idea generation, all the way to the point of embodiment on the aircraft, ensuring the seamless management, introduction and buy-off of each individual change. This role covers a wide range of topics, from plant productivity improvements to mandatory Engineering changes. Duties will be the sub - assembly of parts, picking of relevant parts, some production line work, general warehouse duties & operation of tow motor trucks (training will be provided). Candidates will ideally have experience of working in a fast paced production /manufacturing environment, have a good eye for detail, be reliable, able to work shifts. Candidates who do not have production experience but have experience of stock control, goods in/out, use of PDA;s (desirable) and good experience of high volume pick rates gained within a distribution centre will also be favourably considered. Hours - shift work, 3 shifts on a rotating basis - early, late & nights over a 5 day week - this is non-negotiable and candidates must be able to work ALL 3 shifts. SYSTEMS ENGINEER - HAMPSHIRE (SOUTH COAST) 6 MONTH CONTRACT - £45 - £55 PER HOUR Stream Resourcing are working with a leading aerospace company and we have a number of contract roles within Systems Engineering based in Hampshire on the South Coast. We are looking for contractors with demonstrable experience within aerospace and systems requirements, design and specifications. You will have knowledge of Systems Engineering standards and techniques particularly with respect to flight certified civil airborne systems such as DC-178C or DC-178B. Ideally experience of single box units within avionics too. We have five roles working on a range of projects. 3 roles are for Systems Engineers, 1 is for a Systems Verification Engineer and 1 for a Systems Safety Engineering role. All roles are offered as a 6 month contract initially, but are expected to extend with forward planning indicating that work does extend beyond this period. Our client is based between Portsmouth and Southampton, has free parking onsite and close to public transport options also. For those looking to locate to the area for the duration of the contract or during the week, costs for £300 - £450 per month. The role will be project based and will be providing technical expertise for a new product in development within the Avionics field. We are looking to pay contractors a rate between £45 to £55 per hour (Ltd Co or Umbrella). We can provide PAYE options, and this can be discussed upon application.
