Role Description: As a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent you will be engaged as part of a specialist debt collection team, you will visit customers at the addresses stated on warrants (includes Liability Orders and Writs) to obtain payment, execute warrants, make enquiries to trace the whereabouts of absconders or seize goods to the value of the warrant for sale at auction. Post the paid training and certification process agents can look forward to typical and realistic self-employed commission only earnings of £35-£60k with experienced agents often exceeding £50k-£80k pa, with commission totally uncapped. We are looking for a SC cleared Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to work in the Electro Magnetic Protection Group (EMPG). The EMPG is seeking to expand its capabilities in hardware realisation of radar counter measure models, model based design, FPGA programming, and DSP in general. An experienced DSP engineer is required to lead the development of particular hardware realisations and to mentor EMPG staff such that they have the SQEP to continue the work and development themselves at the end of the contract. The DSP Engineer will: - Lead the development of particular hardware realisations of electronic warfare models on particular platforms. - Develop inexperienced EMPG staff in DSP engineering, FPGA programming and model based design. - Advise on model based design practices and approaches. In both domains the requirement is for a Software Modeller to exploit and develop the functionality of existing models and to explore feasibility studies into how more future reaching threat representations might be developed. The EMPG modelling capability is critically understaffed and the MPCON will free up valuable resource whilst progressing future capability development goals, as defining in the Technical Capability Principals (TCP) strategy. The suitable candidate will enable headroom for existing SMEs to train and develop new members of staff, whilst also contributing to the transfer of knowledge on models and future model development. Role will require a technically aware, self-motivating person with the following skills: 1.
