The Role - Nurture Group Teacher Our client school would like to appoint a Nurture Group Teacher to join them in the new academic year on a long-term role with view to work permanently from July 2021. The Nurture Group Teacher will be confident working with pupils on a 1:1, group or intervention capacity within this primary and secondary alternative provision (AP) academy. The Nurture Group Teacher will be required to have strong behaviour management to work with learners as they have experienced difficulties with their learning and behaviour in mainstream school. The Nurture Group Teacher must have previous experience supporting learners with SEMH, EBD or extremely challenging behaviour within mainstream, SEN or alternative provision settings. The Nurture Group Teacher must have a teaching qualification, QTS and a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the UK. The School - Alternative Provision, North London The Alternative Provision (AP) is part of a multi academy trust catering to pupils who are not managing mainstream education or have been permanently excluded. Situated in North London, the setting supports up to 58 learners aged 5 - 16. Pupils are taught core differentiated subjects in line with the national curriculum with small, well supported groups for learners who require additional support. Pupils in KS4 are introduced to a variety of vocational courses which include Sports Leadership, Food technology and the Arts Award. Responsibilities: You will predominantly work with teams focussed on our clients online, customer-facing applications - this includes their transactional and loyalty websites & apps. Embedded within product teams, you'll play a key role in enabling the teams to thrive: maintaining the health of the operation, leading planning activities and continually driving positive change. You'll do this by applying agile principles and an experimental mindset, with as much focus on people as you'll have on process. Monitor and report on metrics that reflect the teams' operational health. This will include collaborating with teams on optimising processes and standard operating procedures. High level of proficiency crafting high impact presentations using MS PowerPoint to clearly articulate solutions and create narratives that influence and commit people to change. Key product metrics and analysing data to support decision-making.
