I am looking to recruit a Demand Planning Lead for an established global organisation who specialise in Electrical and Mechanical equipment on an initial 12-month contract paying up to £300 per day with the potential of a permanent contract. The role will be based on one of the sites in Merseyside, Stoke or South Yorkshire. This will include some travel to the other sites under the remit of the position but also includes the flexibility of some home working. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a very knowledgeable Head of Planning where you will have input on several key projects in a business who are reshaping their product range and investing hugely in improving their overall Supply Chain functionality. The position is reporting into the Supply Chain Director. Day to day responsibilities will include: * Creating a 2-year demand plan using the functionality of SAP and newly implemented business planning systems. * Creation, development and reporting of critical forecasting information at board level to enable accurate commercial decision making. * Compile one consistent set of figures from all data streams across multiple sites. * Provide accurate Forecasting reports & analysis to enable accurate commercial decision making. * Become the key planner for "What if" scenarios. * Anticipate and highlight potential issues and improvement opportunities through analytical reviews. * Help rationalise and improve the efficiency of the planning and forecasting process. * Manage multiple/conflicting priorities, appropriately prioritising and allocating resources, with a strong track record of successful delivery. * Summarise identified changes to plans report this in S&OP meetings and reviews. * Analyse trend performance and variations, improvement plans and support modelling possible outcome scenarios. * Support the implementation of SAP into the business ensuring its seamless introduction into the daily routines with clean data. Essential experience: * To have experience in creation of Demand Planning/Forecasting processes within Manufacturing or Engineering. * To have Superuser or Implementation level experience with SAP. * To be Driven, Organised, Ambitious and Lead from the front. * Highly Proficient with MS Office Systems. My client is keen to get someone started in the role quickly and can carry out interviews within a few days. The package on offer is dependent on experience and up to £300 per day and comes with an excellent package including Company Mobile, Company Laptop and Flexible Working at the managers discretion. Mechanical & Electrical Fitters required for a prestigious manufacturing company based in West Sussex. As a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter, you will be working in a busy manufacturing shop floor building and wiring special purpose machinery. - You will be required to build machinery from start to finish using engineering drawings - This role will also involve precision fitting of machine sub-assemblies for large machinery - The role may include point to point wiring on the machines so electrical experience would be advantageous (not essential) - You must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and instructions Hours - After completing the initial 2 week training period you will be working shifts. - The shift pattern will be 4 days on and 4 days off. Working 11.5 hours per day.
