They have a large presence across the UK and this role will be based at in beautiful West Wales (near Lampeter) They are seeking an Operational Performance Analyst for an 18 month contract to support them due to internal secondments, to collaborate with the Finance team along with providing production data for continuous improvement. What you will be doing as an Operational Performance Analyst; You will complete the administration of all relevant month-end processes, to include operational performance reporting for the on-site management team, providing them with analysis and commentary where appropriate.    You will maintain and develop KPI reporting for the Supply Chain Director and feeding in to the monthly supply chain continuous improvement review meeting    You will be supporting the Continuous Improvement process, maintaining best practice and improvements as directed by management and supply chain leaders . You will provide performance trending, monitoring and proactively report on key operational areas like manufacturing outputs & energy consumption    The Operational Performance Analyst is a key member of the production, planning and administrative support team and you will report directly to the Administration Manager.  As the Operational Performance Analyst you will maintain a close and collaborative working relationship with all members of this team, based on trust and mutual respect.    You will work very closely with the Administration Manager and during periods of annual leave and sick leave cover, you will liaise directly with the Administration Manager in order to provide continued administrative support in all areas.    As the Operational Performance Analyst you will maintain close working relationships with all members of the Finance Team and other manufacturing site teams, but especially with the Finance Business Partner based at the site in West Wales.    You will be responsible at month end preparing the key performance data required for the management review meetings You will offer continuous improvement of the site operational KPI Matrix in liaison with the General Manager and the Finance Business Partner.    You will also be responsible for administration and accounting for the staff association accounts, to include banking and reconciliation of the bank account. As well as complete all expenses processing and credit card processing for the General Manager, Operations Manager & Chief Engineer. You will be a proactive member of the Continuous Improvement Governance Team Meeting. About You... Accountancy Qualifications (minimum AAT Level 2) or equivalent work experience is preferred. You will have Business Administration (minimum NVQ level 3 or similar) desirable You will like working with numbers, be able to effectively analyse and extract data from Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and reports. You will have experience working within a manufacturing environment with exceptional administration and organisational skills. Excellent MS Excel skills – Advanced Level along with excellent general Microsoft computer skills. You will be a strong communicator and be happy to liaise with senior management therefore you need to be assertive & tenacious. Possess high level of skill in problem solving and route cause analysis with the ability to manipulate production data for continuous improvement    What’s in it for you... To include personal protective clothing. • To fully understand and work with all necessary quality control instrumentation. • To set and maintain quality standards throughout all areas and to complete all relevant documentation as required. • To fully support the management team. • Deputise for my colleagues and immediate line manager in areas where I have been trained and considered competent, in their absence. • To undergo training and to support the Product Managers / Desks as required. • Any other reasonable duties not listed to meet the needs of the business. • To check label information to ensure that it complies with supermarket specification in relation to: best before dates, display until dates, bar coding, quantity and size. • To collate shelf life products to replicate supermarket life cycles also conduct shelf life analysis throughout the life cycle specification of a given product. • To monitor taste testing of fruit as requested. • To collate and access product audits from suppliers. Updated: January 2017 • To carry out inspection of fruit goods inwards ready for packaging, in accordance with procedure. • To report and record accurate information, using both relevant documentation and the IT system, on all inspected fruit, including the assignment destination. • To alert relevant departments/parties to any anomalies or issues after inspection. • To identify, record, and highlight any quality issues or defects for the packaging team. • To make up samples as requested to supermarket specification • To check refrigerator temperatures twice daily and take appropriate action Person Specifications The candidate must be physically fit and prepared to work in a chilled environment. Good inter-personal, communication, liaison and IT skills are essential and knowledge of health & safety is also desirable. The candidate must be a competent team player, able to brief colleagues and prioritise multiple tasks. The disposition of the candidate will be personable, assertive, reliable and confident. They will also need to be flexible in relation to the role and hours worked, in-line with the organisation goals and objectives. We currently have 10 vacancies for Machine Operatives, based in a factory in Hemswell on a temporary to permanent basis.
