Skilled Assembly Operators We are actively seeking experienced hands on Assembly Operators for our new Manufacturing client. Due to an increase in sales and growing production levels we are actively seeking a number of skilled operators who can slot straight in due to their individual back grounds and experience working in either a engineering/manufacturing or production environment. The Position includes but is not limited to Operating semi-automated saws / Cutting machinery Measure, Cut, Assemble aluminium framework Plan, prepare and fabricate PVCU products Follow product design and production instructions Work to company standards and produce a high quality product Ideal Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following Previous experience working with both aluminium and or UPVC materials in a manufacturing environment Ability to operate machinery both safely and accurately Good work ethic, someone who takes care in their work whilst producing the necessary production volumes Eye for detail, ability to spot and highlight defects in materials and production before they are sent to the next production cell or customer Enthusiastic and reliable, keen and willing to develop whilst being prepared to learn new skills to benefit both the company and the individual These positions are Temporary to permanent after a successful 12 weeks period and the hourly pay rate is completely down to the individual focusing on mainly on their skillset, reliability and work ethic

Assembly Technician An Assembly Technician is required to work on a three-month contract (with the possibility of temp to perm) for our Manufacturing client based in Andover. This is a 3-month contract working for a leading UK Manufacturing company. Overview of the Assembly Technician contract role An opportunity has arisen for an energetic, intelligent and ambitious Assembly Technician to work within my clients production cell. Working with the team to achieve the required daily targets, your role contains 75% mechanical assembly and 25% electrical assembly. To carry out assembly operations (following suitable training) on a variety of electro-mechanical equipment. As a Senior Process Engineer within the CCA (circuit card assembly) manufacturing facility your focus will be to ensure my clients products are built efficiently, with the most modern tools available. You will demonstrate ownership of processes and equipment in the PCB manufacturing facility and utilise your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. Your day to day responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain manufacturing methods. Support equipment upgrades from purchase through installation. Conduct cost/benefit analysis for changes to processes and/or equipment. Drive Process Improvement / Cycle Reduction initiatives and drive productivity improvements via process change or improvements. Ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment. Identify and reduce product quality issues caused by process variation. Support the quality function through identification and elimination of product non-conformances. Contribute to process and quality improvement projects yielding significant reduction in defects and increased productivity in manufacturing. Attend cross-functional quality sessions and track/drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues. Utilise lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase capacity.To be considered for this opportunity, knowledge of the following is required: Formal Technical Engineering / Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21. Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject. Experience in Circuit Card Assembly equipment. Experience within SMT PCB manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of Electronic assembly, utilising the following equipment / processes: DEK printer, MYDATA, Solder reflow, Selective Solder etc. Experience of PCB ruggedization processes such as Underfill and Conformal Coating is considered highly advantageous Ideally IPC J Std-001 and IPC-610 certified.
