Warehouse / Stores Operative Full Time, 6 month fixed term contract £8.21 per hour We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operator to work on a temporary basis for a six month contract. The main responsibilities of the Stores Operator are booking in, packing and shipping finished goods in addition to assembling kits. Full training for this role is provided however experience in a Stores environment is desirable. I am currently looking for a Plant Sourcing & Logistics Lead to join my clients global manufacturing organisation based in Atherstone on an initial 12 Month Contract. The Plant Sourcing Lead provides regional support to their allocated plant(s) and is the primary point of contact both internally to the plant and externally to all stakeholders. You will collaborate within the plant with Manufacturing, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain functions to align the operating plans of the plants to all sourcing activities. I am looking for a professionally qualified Buyer with extensive Strategic Sourcing experience within a fast-moving manufacturing environment with working knowledge of SAP. Job Responsibilities *As the Plant Sourcing Lead, you will work with plant Management teams to help create and implement sourcing strategies in line with the plant operating plans. *Provide Sourcing support to the plant for Supplier related complaints (SCAR). *Escalation point for supply issues and communication and further escalation to key stakeholders (Plant, Sourcing, Category Leads, BSM etc) *Support plant KPI's (VCI, SOTIF, Payment Terms etc) *Lead, execute, coordinate and support cross-functional projects as assigned *Build strong plant relationship and act as a plant contact for the business/ function teams *Manage as PSO for plant related suppliers as allocated by the Category teams. *TQRDC coordinator for the assigned plants *Support Year over Year cost saving targets *Coordinate efforts within the plant to drive key sourcing initiatives that have a high value and board implication to the corporation (e.g. e-Commerce) *Support internal clients across all plant activities to ensure compliance to all sourcing policies and guidelines. *Support fulfilment of business sourcing specific needs, e.g. supplier risk assessments, CDA's, supply agreements, supplier business reviews and workshops *Work closely with plant Management teams to help create and implement sourcing strategies in line with the plant operating plans. As the Logistics Subcategory Lead, you will be responsible for *Providing support and supplier management for assigned category. Implement category strategies within the Logistics category of spend and search for solutions within existing/ new partners to improve service flexibility, service disruption risks & value *Managing the category for the North Europe region as assigned and detailed by the Category Lead. *Perform complex contract negotiations for the assigned category Knowledge & Skills *Demonstrate a strong strategic sourcing experience managing direct material spend within a regulated environment and show achievements in delivering best total value across all areas of sourcing. *The ability to influence and collaborate with others to get the desired results *Excellent negotiating skills and a track record in change management. *Possess creative and decisive problem-solving skills and the adaptability to meet rapid changing priorities. *Have strong knowledge of logistics commodity. *Preferably you will be degree qualified or hold a professional purchasing certification. *Lean and six sigma training would be advantageous
