Storesperson Contract – 12 months  We are looking for a temporary Storesperson to join a busy and expanding company in Royston. Due to an increase in workload, we need a Storesperson with at least 2 years Stores experience within an engineering/manufacturing type company to be responsible for receiving goods, assisting in stock takes and carrying out various facilities tasks.    With a self-motivated attitude, the Storesperson will need to be reliable and methodical and will be responsible for the following:  - Goods identification - Checking goods against delivery notes - Check inventory counts on a daily and weekly basis and re-order stock items where necessary  - Issue stock items to people as and when they request them - Fork Lift Licence. The Storesperson will need to have at least 2 years Stores experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment and will also need to have a full driving licence, a self-motivated attitude and an accurate and methodical approach to their work.  This Storesperson vacancy is a temporary role for an initial 12 months, with a rate of £10 - 12 per hour depending on experience

We are looking for someone with a good grounding in Mechanical Design, proficient in the use of Solidworks and who can pick up project work from day 1. We're working with a Food Manufacturer based in Lincolnshire that supply a mix of sweets, beverages and even savoury and baby foods who are looking for a Development Technologist on a 1 year contract to start in mid March. Reporting in to the R and D Manager, you'll be working on a variety of projects, helping to deliver fully-documented customer solutions. This isn't a typical Development role and you'll be providing sound technical advice and solutions by carrying out colour formulation and performance evaluation work in relevant food applications in all market areas and liaising with application experts. You'll also be assisting in putting together reports and presentations for internal and external customers that outline the benefits and includes relevant elements such as application designs, testing protocols and shelf-life results and application advice. We're looking for a Candidate with a Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science or a Food related discipline and has a solid scientific and food background knowledge. Previous experience of the food industry would be great, as would a second language, but these aren't essential although the ability to write clear, concise reports and presentations is. This is an excellent opportunity to make a mark in the industry.
