Project Manager – Telecom

This project will not just involve the management of a multi-million dollar rollout of the selected architecture, but Project Manager must manage a design team to choose that target architecture and ensure Cisco’s operational readiness.

Candidate will make recommendations to senior management to resolve issues affecting project delivery and will be the point of escalation for resolution of major project issues affecting scope, cost etc.

Electrical Site Supervisor JOB SUMMARY / OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE: The role consists of all aspects of the site supervision of allocated contracts to ensure that our business principles of quality, profitability and close client relationships are implemented at all times. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete responsibility of allocated contracts which would include but not be limited to the following activities – * Must have knowledge of the most economical and effective layout of installations together with the ability to achieve a high level of productivity in the work which they control * The supervisor must also be able to apply a thorough working knowledge of their own trade, (i.e. mechanical, electrical, public health) whilst also being able to manage other trades not associated with their own skillset * Represent company meetings with client, supply chain and project teams as required for project * Maintain accurate records of meetings * Provide technical input in relation to your skills into project requirements, including liaison with both internal and external design teams * Understand the relevance of Specification, Drawings and Technical Submissions * Maintain copy of current drawings and mark up as necessary for record purposes * Request technical clarification from CM when required * Understand the importance of RFI’s * Efficient management of labour resource including direct and sub-contract * Ensure a high quality installation * Complete quality control documentation as appropriate maintaining copied for O&M manual * Strive for a snag free installation and rectify any defects * Final snagging by CM prior to presentation to the client * Regular liaison with CM’s to report on overall operation of their programme, labour, opportunities, health and safety and any other issues * Asses and generate required site based project documentation, items such as RAMS, permits, void closures etc * Review and prepare Specialist RAMS together with in-house RAMS for final review by CM prior to issue to client * Request PTW as appropriate utilising client process * Responsibility for site health and safety procedures and documentation including regular liaison with Engineering health and safety manager to ensure best practices are maintained * Read, Understand and implement Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan together with any pre-Construction information. * Maintain accurate site induction records * Maintain accurate signing in records * Carry out regular Health & Safety Checklist: typically weekly * Carry out Tool Box talks as appropriate * Maintain accurate equipment checks and other checks as included in Site Log Book * Monitor and control of supplier and sub-contract supply chain to ensure best value and quality are achieved * Ensure suppliers deliveries are accurate, complete and fault free * Provide feedback on performance, quality, H&S, attitude, etc * Staff welfare, workload and behaviour is effectively managed * Maintain site welfare facilities ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must have qualification or be able to demonstrate suitable knowledge and experience in their specific skillset * CSCS Card (or approved equivalent) * CITB SSSTS certificate holder (or approved equivalent) * Good computer literacy including ability to produce and work on Word, Excel and Project Software * Driving licence holder * First Aid at work * Manual Handling training * Abrasive Wheel Dressing Training * PASMA or other relevant site based certification * Asbestos Awareness Remuneration * The role is providing a day rate of up to £250 per day.
