Great opportunity open for a Telecommunications Customer Project Manager with experience of managing projects and external customers to come on-board and work for a reputable telecommunications vendor, based in Dublin, Ireland. This will be an initial 6 month contract position with competitive rates on offer. Key experience: Wide experience of managing projects and external customers is essential Responsibilities: The role is for a Project Manager who will take ownership of the project on behalf of the customer from a delivery perspective. This includes business development in live projects and the management of the customer stakeholders. Execute project and propose corrective actions using a standard Project Management Plan Prepare Project Management Plans and project phase plans for the Projects. Propose for approval tactical contingency plans in anticipation of potential problems. Prepare resource forecast requirement plans Execute project, monitor and control progress against a baseline plan, look continuously for improvement Allocate tasks and priorities as needed Use the Issues Management System, provide detailed action plans of steps to fix and escalate issues Propose for approval corrective actions when not tracking against the plan Provide the necessary Project Metrics (eg Effort to date, Estimated Cost to Complete, Estimated effort at Completion) Ensure Project closing Report the PM relevant KPIs and milestones defined in the reporting and governance structures of the project Contribute to project reviews internally and toward the customer Provide standard project documentation in accordance with standards and approved by all relevant parties, collecting and distributing as necessary from and to contributing organizations Ensure compliance of resources with project execution and escalate any issue Project People is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy

One of Resourcing Solutions major railway clients is seeking an experienced Senior Railway Telecoms Design Engineer to join its team. You can be based either in the Glasgow, York, East Midlands or London joining the operational telecommunications design team as a contractor on a long term contract. As a Senior Engineer you will be producing designs for various rail projects across the UK and you will act as CRE. As a CRE you will and be responsible for producing designs of Operational comms systems such as Fibre & Copper cabling, FTN, PETs, SPTs, concentrators and all associated lineside telephony. You will be working to Network Rail & mainline railway specifications, processes and procedures. You must have previous Telecoms Design experience within a rail environment. You must have proven experience in design of railway operrational comms systems to be considered. Preferably you'll hold a PTS in case of a requirement to attend site, but not essential immediately. You will require extensive understanding of SISS enabling works and temporary works design for major station projects in a railway environment. You will be offering support and technical advice to the client working closely with all stakeholders in the project. To be considered for this role you will have extensive railway SISS / Station Comms experience including but not limited to CCTV, PA, CIS, PHP, Access Control and all associated cabling and systems infrastructure.
