You must have 10+ years of Project Management experience in Network, Data Centre, Voice and Security delivery ideally in Telecom and Financial sector. 

  • We urgently seek Project Managers to work upon a number of infrastructure projects for a major client.
  • The ideal candidate needs to offer significant project management experience of delivering migration projects in Network, Data Centre, Voice and Security solutions, ideally in a fast-paced City (financial services) based environment.
  • Experienced at writing business cases, controlling project budgets, forecasting time and resources, developing project scope, managing risk and escalating project issues.
  • Impressive track record of delivering network infrastructure projects within highly technical and diverse environments.
  • Must be a self-starter and ability to work independently, and ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities to bring tasks to successful closure Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Technical team management skills in large scale deployment projects (rollouts, infrastructure, Data Centre, IT & new development projects) stakeholder management (internal & external), management of off-shore development & delivery teams.
  • Act as a mediator between executives and numerous staff members employed as part of his or her specific area. 
  • Monitoring associated budgets, allocating project resources and motivating and managing the programme's team members. 
  • Issuing progress reports and ensuring deadlines are met in a timely and efficient fashion.
  • Define Governance, decision stage gates and responsibilities (RACI).
  • Oversee delivery of quality assurance of the programme.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Our client who are a global Telecommunications organisation are looking for a Programme Director to join them for a contract. The ideal candidate will have a solid background and a proven record as a Programme Director. Prior experience in a Telecommunications organisation will be a distinct advantage for this role. 

  • Responsibilities will include but not be limited to creating business case structure to be detailed throughout the project and ensuring the complete life cycle management of bids in reporting systems by keeping status and financial information accurate and up to date. 
  • You will also be responsible for the achievement of the project, programme or transitions objectives.

Initial and ongoing training is offered to the right applicants. The requirements for this role are: - Full UK driving license, with good driving experience - Physically fit, able to cope with performing small groundworks activities - DBS check will be conducted before starting in the field - Travelling to different residences in London and installing cables to properties. You will be performing cable pulling and small groundworks/digging activities potentially using a steel saw, or working on the tarmac to cut out and then reinstate. The customers frontage can range from anything from a normal garden to Drive way consisting or Tarmac, Block paving or Concrete. You will be provided with all tools necessary to perform in the job.
