The purpose of this role is to interface directly with the external & internal customer, delivering a world class service. Through exceeding on requirements outlined by the business unit and the customer agreements.

Responsibilities

Booking & Scheduling:

Booking quoted reactive jobs with external customers, coordinating part deliveries with supply including:

Setting up new vendors

Arranging for subcontractor's work

Order processing

Return visits:

Review awaiting parts and plan return visits for engineers

Chase parts from suppliers

Review of open work orders and chasing technicians

Contract Specific requirements:

Carry out tasks for certain key accounts as requested by the business in line with role and responsibilities

Assisting with quotations as required

Dealing with adhoc requirements as requested

General administration:

Processing customer documentation

Office Management & Reporting/Forecasting

Labour & Expense for the Field

Goods In

Manage request for booking of rooms and buffets

Knowledge & Skills:

SAP & FX experience desirable

Experience in working in a team to achieve common goals and SLA'S

Computer literate, good telephone manner

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Ability to follow business processes and tasks

Ability to handle problems through to completion and understand impacts

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Ability to organize multiple tasks simultaneously

Determination to exceed customer expectations

Good communication, both verbal and written

NextLink is having an existing position as a Temp. Support Supply Chain for global projects in Switzerland.

General information:

- Start date: January 2019

- Duration: 3 months

- Work location: Switzerland, Basel

This temporary job function supports the internationally operating Supply Chain Team in specific tasks as outlined underneath in order to ensures a smooth supply chain.

Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Entering orders into the system and monitor data transmission (Idoc monitoring)
  • Manage changes of already placed orders: Perform quantity changes in orders or make rejections in the system when required
  • Deliveries from 3d party vendors: Post Goods Receipt and Goods Issue and issue invoice. Make sure documents are available for customs declaration.
  • Handle deviation reports for the team
  • Support the team with general daily tasks

Skills required:

Manages the team, updates work plans, schedules, resource plans, organises and moderates team workshops
Liaises with other team leads to identify integration topics and related actions and aligns with Integration Management

Ensures required expertise in the team, drives and facilitates decisions
Takes corrective actions on scope and progress deviations including maintenance of the action list

* Responsible for accurate logging of incidents and updates on the system.
* Experience in a Service Desk/call centre orientated and or an operational role would be desirable.
