Strategy Commission Manager- £(Apply online only) a day Umbrella- Contract- Wokingham My client has released an exciting opportunity to join their team in Wokingham on a contract basis. The role will be to drive, develop and oversee the implementation of the placement strategy within Children's Services. The strategy must ensure that the client works with children and families to help support them to remain together when it is safe to do so, offer high quality evidence based practice, strong and effective management oversight, consistently good services which provides good quality care when children are looked after. The strategy will ensure: - Effective development of the provider market in order to Ensure that a sufficiently diverse range of services are available to ensure sufficiency - Ensure that these services offer quality social care to the client The strategic management of provider markets: - Maintaining an effective and robust relationship with providers - Directing the market to meet the strategic priorities of the client and the projected needs - Oversight of the quality of the services offered by providers in order to ensure continuous improvement - Using market intelligence to maintain oversight of the long term sustainability of markets and market providers - Robust cost management for the client including the delivery of cashable savings and efficiencies to enable the client to achieve budgetary targets on external expenditure.
