The role is paying £575pd PAYE - 6 months contract - remote/london based. The role will be based remote, with onsite work being dependent on future advice given out by the government. The role will be as follows Managing and executing the review and edit model documentation to ensure the models story is presented in an understandable and consistent way to meet Senior Management and 3rd party expectations Production of high quality, comprehensive, consistent and coherent model documentation in support of regulatory submission and approval Acting as a Technical Authoring expert across Wholesale Credit model risk landscape Drawing the requisite information from model developers/ owners and translating complex methodologies into high quality easily digestible documentation Management of an iterative documentation review, challenge and approval process across multiple model documentation initiatives simultaneously Ensuring best practice standards adhered for all model risk documentation Knowledge Required Excellent understanding of Wholesale Credit Risk quantitative modelling methodologies and best practice techniques Very strong knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitors etc. Business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques Experience Required Strong quantitative modelling background Strong (5+ years) Wholesale Credit technical documentation authoring experience Strong stakeholder management/ interpersonal skills Demonstrable ability to translate complex modelling techniques into high quality, coherent documentation appropriate for a diverse technical/ non-technical audience Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements in respect to Wholesale Credit quantitative modelling Strong experience in a process orientated project environment; ability to work as part of a tightly focussed project delivery team If you would like to go forward, please send an up to date CV and confirm you happy to progress with the role. I am recruiting for a Signalling Project Engineer to work on a large rail project on a 6 month contract basis working remotely. The role will suit a Project Engineer who has experience of working client side for Network Rail. The specific duties for the role include: * Monitor the outputs of design and specialist consultants and contractors. * Provide project management advice in respect of all construction activities, including testing and commissioning and site supervision. * Ensure that the design and/or construction elements of relevant projects meet the requirements of current legislation, including construction design management (CDM) regulations. * Ensure that the contractors design/construction/specialists personnel are competent. * Undertake reviews of design and/or construction activities. * Arrange audits of contractors/consultants/specialists monitoring safety, environment and quality of design, construction, testing and commissioning and management systems is adequate. * Maintain the use of relevant techniques and procedures of quantified and qualitative risk assessment and HAZOP analysis to allocated projects and manage the environmental aspects of allocated projects in accordance with Network Rails environmental policy. To be considered for this role you must have substantial experience of working as a Project Engineer within Signalling within a railway environment, and with at least some of this experience must include recent operating client side for Network Rail with Authority to Work. You will be experienced in various signalling technologies and, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi discipline areas. You will have the following qualifications / experience: * Technical qualifications to a minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent GNVQ level. * Knowledge of quality assurance. * An understanding of the arrangements required for the independent assessment of work. * CDM, risk assessment , auditing internal and external competency. * CITB CSCS scheme * Ideally you will also have knowledge of structuring safety cases in support of projects. Description: Developing and leading work on PPE policy, maintaining policy decisions. Policy development and maintenance; Providing good quality verbal and written advice.  This includes producing materials for Ministers and top officials. Ensuring the team are supported, and provide management overview of at least two G7’s. Providing leadership and support for two G7’s who are leading work on Judicial Reviews Leading work on guidance for PPE, face coverings etc. This involves working across Whitehall to ensure a cohesive approach, as well as maintaining a good relationship with colleagues from the centre.
