We are seeking a technical IT project Manager to assist our client who are wishing to accelerate work they are doing within IT to support the business in meeting the Insurance Distribution Act and General Data Principles Regulations. The programme is set up with a number of business workstreams and there is technical IT work required to support these. Key deliverables required include: * Forming a deliverable plan, from a set of business requirements, taking into account limitations of some legacy systems. * You will be responsible for the formation and delivery of the IT components of this programme, working closely with the IT team based in Newcastle with the potential for occasional travel to London City offices. There is an opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to help develop the project management culture and practices within the IT team. A project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APMP would help provide confidence in your knowledge of good project management processes during the initial introduction. As well as having great people skills, with the ability to provide calm and motivating leadership, you will have an understanding of IT application build, an appreciation of data structures and will have probably worked with software developers. It would be great if you have worked on regulatory projects within regulated environments such as financial services or insurance. Problem solving and prioritisation skills will be important in this role, along with the ability to influence, clear communication and reporting. My Client a major textile and clothing manufacturer and is looking for a true project leader, an individual who can hand hold the organisation and all stakeholders through a high profile ERP implementation. Involved in every aspect of the project you will work with The Board to select the ERP product (currently between two providers) and then manage and deliver every aspect of the implementation. Working with a structured methodology you will start with business analysis, mapping the requirements, looking at the use of the current ERP system, holding workshops with department heads to understand the challenges before building a project / product roadmap. You will then contribute to negotiations with the third party software business and ensure the correct product is selected and is fit for purpose. This will also include negotiating the terms of the contract, consultancy, support etc. Once selection is complete you will execute the project plan, working closely with internal IT and business resource together with the external provider to implement each phase/module/aspect of the ERP platform. With little in the way of internal technical/ERP expertise my Client is keen to hire an individual who can represent their interests with the external partner. An person who has extensive experience of ERP systems roll outs, particularly with experience of ERP into Manufacturing. The project is anticipated to last 12 months and is due to start within the next month. Day rates will vary depending on experience. The Workday GPO Transition Consultant for Time and Absence Solutions will play a key role as part of the Workday Transformation project. This person will be responsible for defining the global requirements for time and absence to support the Workday configuration, reviewing localization requests against the global footprint and managing the integrations between the global time solution, Kronos, Payroll Vendors and the Workday tool.
