Key Responsibilities * Our Programme Facilitators deliver a range of group work programmes and courses aimed at supporting individuals to change negative behaviours and unhelpful patterns of thinking. * You will participate in the preparation and planning of groups and then provide written reports on service users’ progress. * The role involves working with low, medium and high risk service users. There will be some 1:1 work but most of the work is carried out in a group setting. The role would suit someone who is open to working with a diverse range of people with complex needs. You will be dealing with service users from a variety of backgrounds with differing beliefs, attitudes and behaviours where you will need to explore these differences with a view to achieving positive change. You must also have the ability to maintain an adequate level of discipline and control so that learning can take place within the group. Due to the nature of the role a vast amount of training and support is provided to ensure that all Programme Facilitators are confident and competent to succeed. Through the training programme you will learn about the aspects of Treatment and Programme Delivery including the theory behind the Interventions we deliver. Salary: £22,924 per annum plus unsocial hours pay enhancements – Saturdays premium payment of 50% and evening working premium payment of 30%. Hours: This is a full time role, there is an expectation that operational staff work regular weekday evenings (until 10pm) and on Saturdays to support service users without jeopardising their employment. We are looking for an engaging and passionate individual with experience in working in a supported accommodation service to join our team in Newport. The scheme provides a short-term housing solution to homeless individuals with complex needs. You could be manging this service and working with these incredible individuals to identify their initial support needs and support them to move on into their own tenancy or into the Newport Pathway services. The scheme delivers intensive housing related support to up to 26 individuals to support them to move into their own tenancy or relevant supported housing accommodation. You would manage a team of Project Workers and Scheme Support Officers who deliver the crucial support to our clients within a 24-hour support setting. Your role will be essential in overseeing this support and ensuring assessments that are made during the clients stay at Albert street lead to positive move on and that the quality is of the highest standard. This is a potentially permanent position for 37 hours per week Working days are predominately Monday to Friday but as the scheme is covered 24 hours, 7 days a week, you would need to ensure adequate cover is provided at all times and you will also be required to be on call on some weekends and deal with any emergencies or incidents
