Experienced Multi skilled Carpenter required for a South Wales based Housing Association as they look to expand their Maintenance Service Division.
Alliance Employment is currently supporting a local Housing Association that’re transforming the way in which their maintenance and repairs services are delivered.
Joining just as they embark on this period of change, the Multi skilled Carpenter will form an integral part of the trades and labour team, working on both planned and reactive maintenance projects in tenanted and void properties.
Alongside your carpentry duties, the Multi skilled Carpenter will also provide reactive repairs & maintenance for minor works, such as plumbing repairs, plastering and redecoration and tiling, ensuring a varied workload and the opportunity to develop your wider skill set.
As this role involves working within tenanted properties, it’s integral that the Multi skilled Carpenter has the ability to communicate effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety remain the top priority.
Alongside the ability to provide first class customer service, the Multi skilled Carpenter will also need to demonstrate a good understanding of asbestos, legionella, CDM, COSHH & fire safety regulations, to help ensure all necessary H&S and compliance measures are met.
This contract is initially being offered on a three-month basis, but there’s a strong potential that the role will lead to a permanent position.
