We have an exciting opportunity for an Avionic Technician to join a multinational Engineering defence company, based at RAF Valley in Holyhead. You will be an experienced and skilled technician undertaking a range of detailed maintenance activities on an aircraft or aircraft component. You will have a good understanding of the construct of the approved Technical Information set and is competent to work unaided to approved data, maintenance instructions and in accordance with the organisation’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE). You must be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse and diagnose faults to equipment & assemblies, follow diagnostic procedures and work effectively within a team provide guidance to less experienced team members in a diverse and dynamic operational environment. You will carry out (as directed) trade tasks pertinent with the maintenance, rectification and preparation of Aircraft to meet the allocated daily task at first line. This role will operate on a Night shift pattern, Monday to Thursday between the hours of 9pm to 7am, which will attract a shift premium in addition to stated salary. Key Requirements: * Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship / qualifications. * Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or NVQ Level 3 Aeronautical related discipline. * Aircraft platform training (on a/c requirement) * Trade Principles training * Computer literate If you have the necessary skills and experience, APPLY NOW

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading multinational engineering defence company, based at RAF Valley in Hollyhead. You will assist in the production of Hawk aircraft to meet the daily flying task. The Hawk contract requires employees to support planned detachments and down-bird recovery activities as and when requested. You will carry out as directed trade tasks pertinent with the maintenance, rectification and preparation of Aircraft to meet the allocated daily task. Tasks are to be supervised and carried out in a safe and efficient manner to ensure task progression meets the allocated flying programme without compromising flight safety or the airworthiness of the aircraft. As an experienced and skilled technician, you will supervise a range of detailed maintenance activities on an aircraft or aircraft component. You will have an excellent understanding of the construct of the approved Technical Information set and will be competent to work unaided to approved data, maintenance instructions and in accordance with the organisation’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE). You will be able to sign 1st and 2nd signature for work completed and supervision of work within trade boundaries. If you can demonstrate the ability to analyse and diagnose faults to equipment & assemblies, follow diagnostic procedures and work effectively to help lead a team, provide guidance to less experienced team members in a diverse and dynamic operational environment we want to hear from you. Essential requirements: * Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship / qualifications.
