We are looking for TA / Teaching Assistant to cover day to day, short term and long term placements supporting children in with their education. This is a great chance to gain abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting.
The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:
Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
A calm, patient and caring persona
Good communication skills
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.

A 6 moths+ opportunity for a Support and Operations IT Technician has arisen with the local authorities in Neath, Wales.
To provide ICT Support and Operations limited to removal and installation of network and end user devices in schools.
Following plans and instructions in accordance with agreed processes.
Carry out the physical uninstall of existing network switches from Data cabinets in schools and the installation of replacement network switches.
Repopulate the switches with patch cables as per port schedule.
Carry out the uninstall of existing wireless access points in classrooms and halls
Carry out the installation of replacement wireless access points.
It is likely the work will be at height and ladders would be used.
Testing the network after the replacements have been fitted in partnership with the Network team.
Returning the old network kit back to the QuaysSkills and Experience:
Be able to identify a switch and other network equipment like a WAP, network points, data cabinets. To identify the different types of end user devices e.g. laptop, chromebook, ipad, android tablet, also identify devices e.g. ctouch, tv displays, whiteboards and projectors.
Be able to promptly raise questions and escalate issues when needed.
Be able to use a windows laptop, mobile phone and be able to capture and record information methodically in an excel document per site visit.
Need to be IT literate.Hours of work are 8.30am till 5pm, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
