Role: UK Imports Broker Control Specialist Ref:19754 Duration: Long term temp assignment until 20th March 2020 (possibility of being extended) Location: West London Pay rate: up to £209.50 PAYE or £274 LTD Co (equivalent to up to £54,469) Job posting ID: 78840 Our client a Major FMCG company are currently looking for someone to ensure that audits are completed for all relevant UK Imports controls and document issues and raise CAPAs where applicable from audit findings. Your main responsibilities: * Complete mandatory audits relating to Broker Controls and internal processes * Oversight of UK Customs CFSP authorisation * Schedule & update calendar with completed audit details * Check data in the Duty Override report each week to confirm correct duty payments made * Analysis of DD1723 report from Customs website for duty payments over £1000 to ensure that correct duty payments made * Accountability for the companies SOP * Update data required for the companies SLA e.g. time taken on auditing activities. * Work with the UK Import Operational team to amend system data. * Check customs date report against broker import data to ensure no discrepancies * Conduct business monitoring of processes related to UK Customs * Support Indirect Tax and VAT teams with documentary evidence of exports/imports as required. * Support all activities related to SAO controls for Customs & Excise duty imports UK * Preparation of annual Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) sign off process for Customs & Excise duty UK controls * Quarterly business review with nominated Import Broker The Skills you require to be successful: * Educated to degree level or experience in either a custom, duty management, logistics role or data management * Documentation management * Effective communication and people skills * Data management * Problem Solving and issue resolution * Audit and self-assessment * Attention to detail whilst working with complex data We would be grateful if you could send your CV as a Word document. Our client is one of the largest charities in London that support homelessness and vulnerable people. They have multiple service for clients such as young people, clients with a history of homelessness, mental health or substance misuse issues. Position Available: Homelessness Navigator - Wandsworth, £25kpa moving up to 28k if taken perm, 3-4 months ongoing, Contract, 37.5 hours per week Role Purpose: Navigators will initially be embedded in the Drug & Alcohol Outreach Team. The Navigator Roles will work with this team as well as other stakeholders to ensure a multidisciplinary approach in order to support and co-ordinate their tailored and targeted work. Navigators will be assigned to work with people rough sleeping, people at risk of rough sleeping and/or people who are newly accommodated off the street who would benefit from tailored support. They will follow the client from street outreach, giving a continued single point of contact and support through pathway systems and through to resettlement support. They will focus not just on finding and maintaining a housing solution but supporting the individual in their recovery to access services, find employment, undertake training, develop budgeting skills, cultivate positive social circles and be better equipped to maintain their accommodation and independence and avoid returning to the street. Navigators will offer personalised, creative, innovative and effective support and be a single point of contact, building trust with clients, working in an inclusive way and empowering clients to achieve. Navigators will co-ordinate support services, work with stakeholders and provide support, encouragement and advocacy to enable clients to navigate support and accommodation pathways in order to move away from the living on the streets. Navigators will be assigned a rough sleeper caseload of up to 12 clients or more dependent on the complexity level of the clients on that caseload Navigators will require freedom to try different forms of innovative interventions to achieve outcomes, with the full engagement and partnership of local agencies. Navigators will need to demonstrate positive outcomes for clients. Responsibilities: Implement the service's policies and procedures in order to deliver the overall operational programme using a psychologically informed and recovery focused approach. Maintaining a standard of service as required by the Commissioners and Equinox in order to deliver a safe and effective service.
