Your industry knowledge will be put to the test whilst working this contract as there is a great deal of variety in the role. You, the Mechanical Fitter,will be responsible for checking parts, building mechanical systems and ensuring they are fit correctly for several sectors. In this role you will be developing a novel actuator system that is used in automotive vehicles. For the role you should be a confident Real-Time Embedded C programmer who is used to working with microcontrollers/ microprocessors. Experience with ARM Cortex would be particularly desirable, as would experience with CAN bus. If you have worked in the Automotive sector this would be particularly advantageous (but is not essential). Aside from having the technical skills you should be an Embedded Software Engineer who enjoys collaborating with Electronic, Software and Test Engineers.
