An exciting opportunity has come up to join our clients team initially working remotely, from the comfort of your home, as part of a campaign to support the government response to COVID-19. The role will involve inbound and outbound calls, forming part of a team of Call Handlers who will provide the first point of contact for cases of COVID-19.
40 hours (FT) or 20 hours (PT) between Monday to Sunday 8am to 8pm
Undertake interviews with contacts of COVID-19 cases identified for contact tracing
Ensure the timely and accurate recording of information from interviews using the system provided
Provide advice to the caller in line with processes and procedures
Escalate and refer challenging or complex cases or incidents
Working from a scripted questionnaire, you will be required to follow questions on screen and input the respondents comments in real time
You will work to clearly defined targets and deadlines and your performance will be continuously measured and reviewed with the support of training as required
Be able to modify and adapt methods of communication to account for the differing needs of callers especially in stressful and difficult situations and ensure polite, efficient and appropriate communications exist at all times
Maintain confidentiality in relation to personal data held in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

Listening skills are particularly important as your role will require you to listen to a respondent and probe for further detail whilst keeping the conversation on track and in line with the scripted questionnaire
Accuracy is a key skill spanning the role both in capturing respondent feedback and during data entry
Good command of the English language, spelling, grammar and keyboard skills are all essential skills for this role
Computer literacy skills are essential as you will be required to use Microsoft Word and Excel as well as other data capture software where training will be provided
Experience in customer service, sales, research, administration or other telephone based
For this role you will need a quiet and secluded room (where you won’t get interrupted) with a desk and chair. You need to provide your own equipment but don’t worry, we’ll check your kit out. During pre-screening we will cover off the equipment you require. We can also supply kit in some instances if you only require a few bits and bobs, just let us know when we speak to you.

Freelance - Chartered Building Surveyor - £500 a day
I have a fantastic and immediate requirement for a Chartered Building Surveyor to take on a lucrative and long-term contract role across the North West. This position is with a growing client of mine, who's recently won an exciting bid to be placed on a national framework, with a renowned multinational firm.
Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for undertaking Housing Disrepair Surveys and report writing within the residential sector. You don't need to have previous experience carrying out Housing Disrepair Surveys, what you need is a strong understanding of Building Pathology, which you will have as a MRICS Building Surveyor.
This is a homebased role and you will cover a specific area agreed (within your region). You will have full control of your portfolio, where you will be able to arrange and managing your surveys to fit your schedule.
In order to be considered for this position you must have the following:
- Building Surveying Degree
- MRICS status
- Valid Driving Licence

Duties and Responsibilities
* Providing expert guidance to directors and line managers on best practice on complex case work
* Plan, manage and support any consultation activities
* Management of the Job Retention Scheme in accordance with latest government guidelines
* Providing briefings to managers to launch/communicate local/national initiatives on changes affecting employees
* Support and coach line managers as required on capability performance and incapacity and sickness absence management
* Be a key point of contact when it comes to people, policy and process improvement and support the HR Director to implement company-wide change
* Ensure effective, efficient application of processes by the business in employee relations matters such as: probationary reviews, disciplinary and grievance investigations and appeals
* Support and develop company-wide working practices in conjunction with Central Services, Payroll, Business Systems, Directors and the wider HR teams,
* Communicate with the studio directorate on resourcing requirements activities
* Liaise with Directors to identify appropriate training, development and mentoring strategies
