The company Our Client is a large main contractor currnetly recruiting Site Managers for work in Northern ireland. They have a number of existing Framework agreements in place with several Blue chip companies and have also secured a substantial portfolio of Commercial projects. They are now in a fantastic position to build new teams to work long term in these energetic and booming sectors The role We are currently recruiting both Site and Senior Site Managers who have been involved with fast paced Banking schemes.. The works are fit out and refurbishments of a bank. If you have operated as a lead Site Manager and have overseen projects up to £1m then please get in touch. As the lead man and site manager you will be responsible for following – * Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety * Making sure all paperwork is complete * Making sure the project is running to time and budget * Driving sub-contractors * Communicating * Liaising with the client or branch staff

Technical Officer required for a fantastic contract based in Lisburn  The Role  The post holder will be responsible to the Construction Services Manager to work within the Construction Services Section of the Technical and Estates Services Unit to provide a comprehensive range of technical services and will be required to work closely with other departmental units across all directorates to enable Council departments to meet their strategic objectives. The Duties are as follows:  Produce, procure and administer a range of construction/works/maintenance projects from inception to completion including site, topographical and building surveys, project design, budget cost estimates, preparation of tender documentation, working drawings, specifications,  bills of quantities, obtain approvals of Planning Service, Building Control and evaluate tenders, Liaise with statutory bodies, consultants, public utilities and product manufacturers in relation to design and technical information for works projects. Manage the administration of the construction phase of works contracts to include supervision of works to ensure compliance with specifications, health and safety compliance, arrange site meetings, compile minutes of site meetings and measurement of completed works for preparation of payment certificates. Procure specialist consultants and liaise with them regarding design input for council construction projects and works schemes. Maintain the councils register of land assets. Provide advice to Council departments on issues of ownership, landowner responsibility relating to public liability claims, illegal dumping, land encroachment and provide a mapping service to address these needs. Provide a GIS and mapping information service to Council departments. . Provide technical support for the Councils building maintenance program. Carry out operational inspections of Council owned car parks/ play areas/ parks as required in accordance with best practice guidance. Inspect vacant Council properties and issue repair notices to the Operational Services Unit as necessary.
