We have a new opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join my client who are a well-established and successful Manufacturing organisation based in Lanarkshire based within their busy and modern manufacturing facility.
Working as part of the existing maintenance squad, you will be tasked with carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance including breakdowns and repairs to factory machinery including:
·Served a recognised Mechanical apprenticeship.
·Strong background in Heavy Industrial Engineering.
·The ability to read & interpret engineering drawings.
·Pneumatic & Hydraulic experience.
·Basic Welding & Fabrication skills

Due to increased production, our client who are a well-established and successful manufacturing organisation are currently recruiting for Semi-Skilled Joiners / Labourers for an on-going contract basis.
Working within a fast paced and heavy production factory, you will be working from engineering drawings and be responsible for:
·Reading from Technical Drawings
·All Joinery work related to the assembly of Stair Cases and Landings in preparation for concrete pouring
·Setting up Moulds and Castings for specific products
·Preparation of moulding material
·Using both hand and power tools
·Proven track record of the above requirements
·The ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings
·Be able to demonstrate a consistent positive and flexible approach to the work and a willingness to react swiftly to specific demand
·Flexible with working shifts and contributing to overtime if and when required
·Ability to use various hand tools
·Sound knowledge and understanding of H&S standards in the workplace
This is a full time role and transport is essential
