We are looking for a SC cleared MOD Fitter - National - Skill Zone 3. This is a 2 year contract with excellent training prospects. You will have: * 2 years recent experience of working in air traffic navigational aid engineering environment * Ex trade group 3 or 4 having completed course numbers 1932 or 4001 or equivalent (air traffic safety electronics personnel - civilian certification will be considered where no previous RAF experience is held). * Must have watchman primary or secondary radar maintenance experience. * Combination mascot voice switch, precision approach radar, direction finding, Tacan TRN/26 (minimum 2 unless both of the above are held) experience. * Full clean drivers licence and ability to hold airfield driving permit (colour perception 2). * Familiar with the mod 700 series engineering documentation set. * Ability to work in a high pressure environment. * Must be conversant with tool control procedures in the MAA or CAA environment (training can be provided). * Ability to utilise the full spectrum of test equipment associated with the navigational aid engineering environment. * -Comply with the rules and regulations contained within the map-01, regulatory articles, AP 600 and station health and safety policy. * Must be able to work an on call shift pattern during unsociable hours in response to a 60 minute call out time across both Lossiemouth and Kinloss (including weekends - generally a 1 in 3 basis) * Must be able to attend training courses at no 1 radio school, DCAE Cosford. * Suitability to hold the following map-01 authorisations - b180 - 1st signature within trade (atm environment only). An understanding of Auto enrolment and real time information (RTI) is essential.
