Our client is a global provider in nuclear transport solutions and establishing a new part of their business that will complement their aspiration to become a one stop shop for the worldwide transport of nuclear materials.  

LOCATION 
Warrington, Cheshire but with the opportunity of working from remote/ home.

SALARY
Up to 75K base plus excellent benefits.

MUST HAVE (you must have following)
Experts in the field of criticality and shielding (not solely with transport experience).
Experience in worldwide transport of nuclear materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
Provide advice to the commercial team in the assessment of business opportunities.

Advise engineering and design team to ensure criticality and shielding considerations are fully addressed from the outset of the design process, and preparing criticality assessments forming part of package transport safety case submissions to enable the transport business. (The latter will require considerable liaison with specialists within the regulatory organisations).

Demonstrate the tenacity, drive and resilience to engage and develop positive relations with regulators and customers.

In response to the Coronavirus outbreak we will only be arranging interviews by video and conference call and anticipate some delay in application feedback.

Contract/ Permanent/ Part-time roles avalable 

LOCATION

SALARY
Contract: Up to £700 per day
Permanent: Up to £75,000 base plus excellent benefits.

Contract Freight Sector Operations Specialist

Usually London Based - Currently Home Based under C19

£600 a day for an initial 6 months

We are working with a Consultancy client who have developed a bespoke Simulation engine that can be utilised across many sectors.

They are looking for someone experienced around the Freight Sector to help them understand its operations and assist in the delivery of the Product to Companies and Government institutions in the sector.

Ideally you will have a background as a Freight or Logistics operations strategy Director but you MUST have strong IT experience.

You will have experience and understanding of as many of the following:

A reputable rail client of ours is on the lookout for a ETCS/Signalling Design Engineer for a large upcoming project.

  • Responsibility for development and publishing of ETCS Designs to deliver the Client's objectives
  • Preparation of conceptual reports, ETCS scheme designs, project documentation, specifications, contract schedules, implementation/construction plans and costings to client requirements.
  • Developing future ETCS concepts and white papers

Requirements

  • A Degree qualification and working towards or ideally have achieved Chartered status.
  • Experience in Signalling design
  • Experience of ETCS technology, its operation and specification.
  • Knowledge of GSM-R, TMS, CBTC, (C)DAS and other communication and signalling technologies
  • knowledge of Systems Integration.
