A leading omnichannel Lottery and Gaming organisation who provide life changing products and services across retail, eCommerce and digital are pivoting their products and embarking on a journey which could elevate their status to becoming THE household brand in the industry with a potential revenue increase from £10’s millions per year to £100’s millions per year.
With significant financial backing and by putting their customer front and centre, they aspire to be truly product and consumer driven and require a Chief Digital Officer to help make this vision a reality.
As part of this greenfield venture, The Chief Product Officer will work collaboratively with some of the most recognised people in gaming and lottery industry at an exec level and the collective goal put simply is to scope out and deliver the pivot which will include:
·building and developing a high performance digital team;
·designing and implementing scalable, best practice digital processes;
·taking a customer and data driven approach to designing a digital strategy and roadmap for new disruptive online gaming and lottery products targeting all relevant channels and demographics;
·ensuring relevant channels, content and user journeys are optimised to maximise acquisition, conversion and retention – driving customer through the marketing funnel as effectively as possible;
·successfully launch and operate a number of disruptive new products and services into the gaming and lottery marketplace;
·with Mergers and Acquisitions in mind, assess the integration of existing products into the current product roadmap, helping to maximise ROI.
Must Have Gaming / Lottery Background and Experience:
As the Chief Product Officer, you will have:
·significant experience within the lottery and / or gaming industry;
·experience within a start-up organisation who successfully penetrated the gaming or lottery market, or with an established and recognised lottery or gaming company who successfully pivoted their product to significant effect;
·proven experience taking a data first / customer first approach to product design, ensuring new products excel and ROI is maximised;
·Significant gravitas and leadership qualities.
Duration and Next Steps:
The initial proposal will take approach 6 months to create the go to market plan and execution will see this contract extend to 18 months or more.
