Currently we are looking for a React Developer to join one of our international clients in Oil & Gas industry for a period of 5 month with the possibility of extension located in London. Start date: asap Duration: 6 months Key Skills and Experience:   Experience of the Energy Trading, or related, business would be useful, though not mandatory React, (mandatory) Redux, (mandatory) Highcharts, (Highly Recommended) Thunk, Sagas, (Recommended) / Remove Flow Styled-Components Axios React-testing-library Azure DevOps/VSTS experience – creating/operating CI/CD build and release pipelines  Good knowledge and practical experience of software design principles & basic patterns   Strong emphasis on testing – unit, integration and automation  Strong emphasis and proven track record of building robust software that is easy to debug and operate  Has used Azure or other Cloud offering (Serverless computing (AWS Lambda/AZURE Functions etc)  Experience and knowledge of auto software deployment technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Git)  Experience with Cloud-based software, specifically Microsoft Azure (including but not limited to Databricks, Azure Foundations)   Experience with Data Architecture and design techniques (local/abstract) including Azure API techniques/developments  Experience of Agile Project Delivery techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).   Have good interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Comfortable in communicating with business colleagues and working in cross functional global teams  Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and balancing multiple priorities Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  Knowledge and interest of Trading and Supply (commodity) businesses is preferable  Personal Attributes:   Adaptable to change, versatile and pragmatic  Uses best practice development techniques but can change approach according to conflicting timelines/risks involved  Comfortable talking to trading business users and can translate business needs into tangible IT deliverables   Keeps up-to-date knowledge with recent IT software developments (open source and cloud in particular)  Uses initiative and owns end-to-end solution delivery  Brings creative and innovative ideas to the table, is inquisitive and excited by new technology   Proactively communicates and shares understanding and experience within a team  Used to working in a flexible, independent manner on a mixture of small unstructured and large structured items

Currently we are looking for a MDM Business Analyst to join one of our international clients in Oil & Gas industry for a period of 5 month with the possibility of extension located in London. Start date: asap Duration: 5 months Description: The ideal candidate can work as part of a global team with a strong track record working with as part of an energy utility or gas & power trading business focussing on operations & trading activities. They will have knowledge of the Gas & Power trading live cycle from setting up counterparties in operations system, message communication with counterparties/ETRM application. They should have worked on various operations systems and good understanding UK & European Market. They will have recent experience of delivering IT solutions to large consumers of European Gas and Electricity and the supporting business processes that enables a business to serve customer needs. Knowledge of how the Gas and Power are bought from the wholesale market via a trading division would be an advantage.  Key Skills and Experience: Essential: Extensive knowledge of Meter Data Management, B2B energy customers mainly Industrial & Commercial Customers who are large end-consumers of gas & electricity supply Experience working with Gas & Power Operations (Scheduling, Nomination, Forecasting, Actualization) Knowledge of Back Office Processes (Invoicing & Settlement) Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and tools with significant experience in project deliverables including the ability to: Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options  Desirable: Knowledge of gas & power trading preferably European Intra-day and Day Ahead Trading Knowledge of ETRM System (Aligne or Endur) Experience working in Agile project Delivery Experience working in geographically distributed teams Personal Attributes: Team player and able to collaborate, proactively communicates and shares understanding and experience within a team Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the energy industry and energy trading Comfortable talking to business users and can translate business needs into tangible user stories or requirements Clear communicator and able to work in a multicultural/lingual environment Uses best practice analysis techniques but can change approach according to conflicting timelines/risks involved, uses initiative and owns their deliverables end-to-end Brings ideas to the table, is inquisitive and excited by new technology Used to working in a flexible, independent manner on a mixture of small unstructured and large structured items
