Drama Teacher (0.4) – Nottingham, September 2020 (Part-Time). A Nottingham-based secondary school is looking to recruit a qualified Drama Teacher to enrich the learning and development of their Key Stage 3 and 4 learners. The position is part-time, covering 2 days a week on a 0.4 timetable and will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful Drama Teacher may also be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support staff to follow when working on a 1:1 basis with SEND students. Experience teaching English is also essential for the successful candidate. REESON Education are recruiting for a temporary Year 3 Teacher to undertake a maternity cover contract within one of our SE London client schools. The role will commence in September and be for 1 term until the Christmas holidays. Due to the contract being a maternity cover, there will not be room for extension into term 2. The school are an OFSTED 'Good' community school located in a well connected part of Lewisham. The school can be easily reached via DLR, the Overground or a variety of local bus routes. The school is commutable from a variety of SE, South and East London locations. Class sizes are approximately 30 pupils and behaviour has been noted as excellent across KS2. Children enjoy being at school and the Staff and Leadership team are incredibly inclusive and supportive of all Teachers. As a Year 3 Teacher you will be required to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated lessons aimed at ensuring all pupils are challenged and get the most out of their school day. You will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of the class across all subjects in term 1 and provide a detailed handover to the returning class teacher at the end of the assignment. A successful Year 3 Teacher will have a good knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and ideally have at least 1 year's KS2 Teaching experience within a London School. Prior experience supporting pupils with English as a Second Language as well as SEND would be advantageous but not essential. The school are open to applications from strong NQTs but are unable to offer support with Induction Years during the course of this contract. This role will be via an agency contract and daily rates of pay are negotiable based on experience. This role would be ideal for an experienced Year 3 Teacher who is looking to move away from full time teaching. There is also the possibility for the role to be 4 days a week for the right candidate.
