Human Resources Consultant (Learning and Organisational Development) The Opportunity: We are looking to attract an experienced, corporate-focused HR Consultant / HRBP with strong knowledge of Learning and Development (L&D) methods and the appliance of Organisational Development (OD) techniques, with the ability to understand business requirements and turn that analysis into actionable solutions. Candidates will have a proven track record in developing and/or implementing successful management/leadership development programs and designing organisational interventions. The Ideal will have experience building high performing leadership teams in a fast paced pressurised environment for large Fortune 500 companies. Skills and Experience: * 5 years’ experience in HR consulting and/or a Fortune 500 company is a must, acting as a HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or in a HR Centre of Excellence at a HRBP-level delivering L&D and OD practices * Significant breadth of knowledge on commonly used training concepts, practices and procedures * Candidates will be expected to travel to other EMEA sites and will have previous experience implementing OD Interventions across geographically dispersed locations – skills in developing and implementing worldwide practices and procedures * Education – degree qualified ideally to MSc or PHD level Role and Responsibilities: You will be collaborating with HR Business Partners to develop high performing leadership teams across multiple sites across the EMEA region, as well as hands-on in supporting design, development and presenting training classes. You will be designing, developing and implementing tools/solutions/communications that lead into the hands of HRBPs and the business. The role requires that you support a number of HR Business Partners in determining the applicability and tangible success of the proposed learning solutions, ensuring the proposed learning solutions meet the EMEA business objectives, as well as aligning them to the overall company objectives – serving as a key project team leader/member on cross-functional projects. Summary: This scope of work is being issued by the BEIS Heat Networks Delivery Unit (HNDU) to review and develop the PCDB as route for distribution losses in dwellings connected to heat networks. The key objectives of the PCDB review workpackage are: 1. Review of the existing PCDB to understand the methodology and processes, and identify critical issues and impacts relevant to heat network project development (with focus on evidence requirements across design and construction stages); 2. Developing an options appraisal for resolutions to these issues, considering the wider Part L/SAP timescales, (where required) the evidence base required for validating each option, and if/how each option could align with a developing ADE/CIBSE CP1 technical compliance scheme; 3. Providing an assessment of each option against appropriate metrics, with clear recommendations, that can be presented to an appropriate group of industry stakeholders for critique and comment; 4. Redrafting the PCDB methodology and calculator for approval by BEIS and adoption by BRE. 5. My client is a local authority who are looking for a Development Manager to join their Regeneration team to work on a large redevelopment programme. The role will focus on managing the delivery of strategic regeneration for the programme and other property developments within the area and will also involve acting as a deputy for the Project Director. Some of the duties include: - To lead and direct project teams working collaboratively with internal teams, key stakeholders and managing external consultants. - To recommend development opportunities to senior officers and members based on viability of developments by undertaking appraisals and cash flows. - To create value and income through the development of sites in accordance with the principles of the Local Plan and masterplan. - Lead on negotiation of legal agreements including, but not limited to, Heads of Terms, Development Agreements and Leases, in conjunction with in-house and external lawyers. - Lead and establish financial program budgets and deliver within these budgets. - To write internal approval papers including, but not limited to, those to SLT, SMB, MAP, BVEC, Cabinet and Council. - To develop and coordinate scheme designs incorporating sustainable design features. - To lead procurement activity relating to all relevant projects in conjunction with internal procurement and legal resource to ensure compliance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Council's Contract Standing Orders - To devise and implement measurable marketing campaigns to increase the rate of development and lettings.
