We are looking for a SC cleared experienced Remedy Administrator/Engineer. You will have: - BMC AR[1] Remedy System Administrator Certification. - AR 8.x and 9.x BMC[2] Remedy deployment and migration experience. - MyIT, Smart IT and Smart Reporting experience. - Knowledge of BMC Atrium Integrator Spoon and BMC Remedy Data Import Tool. - Strong SQL skillset. - Knowledge of BMC web services to support integration activities. - Knowledge of Remedy Developer Studio and best practice when building upon customisations to forms, and workflow. Desirable: - Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle. - Ability to pick up existing processes and tools and get up to speed in a short period of time. - Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and verbally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. - Ability to function as a member of a team while also capable of operation with little supervision or constant guidance. There is a requirement for a Remedy Administration Service for the duration of one year to support and deliver additional activities which are not within the skills set and experience of the current IAS Civil Servant Remedy administrator. This will enable the: - Roll out Remedy to Regional Command, the Army Information Front Door (AFD) and change management portals. - Upgrade to Remedy version to 9.2, - Integration of Remedy with Defence Gateway to standardise processes, - Improvement of current processes to remove duplication and improve efficiency. Two additional requirements are: - To scope whether Service Desk telephony can be linked to Remedy and automated tickets be generated from voice calls. - To enable Remedy integration through use of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
