They have been awarded several new Openreach contracts for which we are currently looking for the very best talent. The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Working on the Openreach legacy and One Fibre Network providing Fibre connectivity to Customer premises * Working at heights and in the underground network * Splicing fibre and testing at multiple points throughout the installation * Working as an individual and as a part of team to achieve targets and KPI’s. * Adherence with Health and Safety legislation To be successful in this role you must: * Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence * Hold a valid NRSWA street works Operative unit 2 card (desirable) * Hold or have held Openreach overhead, underground and fibre accreditation modules (desirable) * Have extensive experience of working on the Openreach network (desirable) * Confident working at heights and in the underground network * Excellent communication skills * Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices. Trainee Assembly Operative Greenwich, SE10 Ongoing long-term contract Monday - Thursday, 41 hours per week Day shifts and night shifts on a 2-weekly rotation £10.10 - £11.11 per hour The Trainee Operative role is working in a busy manufacturing and production area, for a large engineering company in telecommunications. The role is working within a team of Technical Assembly Operators, Support Engineers and Team Leaders you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate building, testing and inspection of built articles. You will also be responsible for the manufacture of high-quality products for external customers. Full training will be provided for the Trainee Assembly Operative position, and the ideal candidate requires an interest in electronics and a practical, hands on position. As a Trainee Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for: Undertaking assembly processes, ensuring all ESD product disciplines are adhered to and products are correctly built and tested, Following Engineering drawings to assemble the mechanical racking systems, sub assembly and wiring of all connections, Building, assembling and installation of modules that make up the suites, Rack wiring completed for all the panels connecting to each other as per drawing, Assembling different power supply units and installation of cubicles, Working on control panels, including complete wiring on the panels using crimp tools, Component & D-type connector soldering, Electrical/Prototype Wiring, PCB Building.Hours of work The successful applicant will be required to work both day and night shifts, these shifts will be on a 2-week rotation. Day shifts (x2 weeks) Monday: 06:00 - 17:00 Tuesday - Thursday: 06:00 - 17:00 Night shifts (x2 weeks) Monday - Thursday: 18:00 - 05:00 Benefits include holiday pay, gym facilities, pension scheme, free parking, full training, and the opportunity to work within high tech and interesting surroundings. You must have 10+ years of Programme Management experience in Infrastructure Delivery ideally in Telecom and Financial sector. 


  • Technical team management skills in large scale deployment projects (rollouts, infrastructure, Data Centre, IT & new development projects) stakeholder management (internal & external), management of off-shore development & delivery teams.
  • Act as a mediator between executives and numerous staff members employed as part of his or her specific area. 
  • Monitoring associated budgets, allocating project resources and motivating and managing the programme's team members. 
  • Issuing progress reports and ensuring deadlines are met in a timely and efficient fashion.
  • Define Governance, decision stage gates and responsibilities (RACI).
  • Oversee delivery of quality assurance of the programme.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and ability to work independently, and ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities to bring tasks to successful closure Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
