Job Description In the QA team, we work across several environments to test complex software and applications. We ensure that all the products-built work as they should. Our main goal is to make sure the architecture, structure and code behind the application isn’t broken. And if not, we try to break it to ensure its robustness. We use a front and back end automation suite, with our front end running on the Selenium framework which interacts with the dom and the page elements on a website Purpose of the role: QA Engineer will perform testing procedures on the Web /Mobile Application Software and ensure all errors are identified and corrected before release to clients. You will be involved in ensuring high quality is engrained into teams as well as working closely with developers to give them a test perspective. You will be responsible for: • • Quality from the start – get involved in the user story definition process and write test scenarios upfront. • • Bring a QA perspective to planning sessions and ensure test effort is taken into consideration. • • Work close with developers to ensure that quality is taken into account and they are creating the right kind of tests. • • Work with product owners to ensure they sign off work items during the UAT phase. • • Support - Assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems. • • Creation of automated test within sprints as well as conversion of current manual tests. • • Creation of mobile automated tests • • Work within the ATDD framework and define items using BDD style syntax. • • Ensure that bugs are treated with importance and try to limit the amount that make it live.
