Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Senior Hr Business Partner for a Local Authority Client based in West London.
In this role, you will lead a team of HR professionals to deliver strategic, business-focused HR solutions that drive organisational change, enhance employee relations, and align with the Council's long-term goals.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
Lead and manage a team of HR Business Partners and Advisors to deliver high-performance HR services, focusing on operational efficiency and staff development.
Oversee the development and implementation of departmental people plans, ensuring alignment with the Council's corporate objectives and workforce strategy.
Provide expert advice on complex HR matters, including employee relations, organisational change, and workforce planning.
Manage complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, ill health, and redundancy matters.
Lead on HR aspects of organisational change programmes, ensuring legal compliance and managing associated risks.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
Professional membership of CIPD at MCIPD or FCIPD level, or equivalent experience with CIPD Level 7 qualification.
Extensive experience as a senior HR professional in a large, complex organisation.
In-depth knowledge of strategic HR management, employment law, and employee relations.
Proven experience in managing organisational change and delivering client-responsive, cost-effective HR solutions.
What's on offer:
Salary: £33+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
