Key Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of quantity surveying duties for water sector projects
Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender documents
Monitoring project costs, budgets, and risk management
Conducting contract administration, including valuations and certifications
Providing insights and recommendations for cost-effective project delivery
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
Producing regular financial progress reports
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in quantity surveying within civil engineering projects
Strong knowledge of cost management, estimation, and budgeting
Proficiency in contract administration and project management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying or a related field
