PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR
STOKE-ON-TRENT - Office-Based (Monday - Friday)
Up to £26K Dependent on experience
GRG are pleased to be working with a manufacturing and engineering organisation who are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join their team. As a Purchasing Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services to meet the company's operational needs.
Responsibilities Included:
- Assisting the procurement team in identifying and selecting suppliers
- Raising purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, prices, and inventory levels
- Resolving any issues related to purchase orders and deliveries
- Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering/manufacturing industry
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
