Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Safety Assurance Manager to lead the implementation of SEQOSH (Safety and Environmental Quality Occupational Health Service) standards and accreditation. This role requires expertise in occupational health and safety, along with the ability to develop and implement necessary procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
SEQOSH Implementation: Lead and oversee the SEQOSH accreditation process, ensuring full compliance with all requirements.
Procedure Development: Write and develop new SEQOSH-compliant procedures, policies, and standards.
Management & Coordination: Collaborate with other team members to manage the SEQOSH process, providing necessary guidance and direction.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for SEQOSH-related updates and communicate progress to the leadership team.
Engagement Options:
Full-Service Role: Manage and deliver the entire SEQOSH process, including writing new standards.
Specialized Role: Focus solely on writing SEQOSH standards, with overall process management provided by the client.
Qualifications:
Safety Expertise: Qualified professional with experience in occupational health and safety.
SEQOSH Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEQOSH standards.
Documentation Skills: Proven experience in writing safety-related procedures.
Project Management: Ability to manage complex processes from start to finish
