Junior Field Service Engineer (219jc) – Home/Field based - £150 pd + Expenses
My client is now seeking to recruit a Junior Field Engineers to partner up with another Ex-Military engineer to help on a 6-month project of swapping out their old analogue comms equipment with their new upgraded digital systems.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.
The region you will be covering will be from the Midlands all the way down to the South West and Wales.
Therefore, your duties will include roles such as; equipment build, installation and commissioning.
Therefore, your principle accountabilities and objectives will include:
* Ensure adherence to company’s standards and procedures
* Execute systems integration and testing activities
* Comply with company & local standards, procedures & protocols with specific responsibility for performance to key performance indicators.
To be eligible for this role, you will need the following:
* Knowledge of TCP/IP routing desirable
* Installation of radio systems infrastructure including experience in Radio Frequency (RF) programming of radio terminals and base station technology
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations including policing of Risks
* Assessment and Method Statements (RAM’s)
* Willingness to follow internal processes at all times
* Ability to take ownership of an issue and can see things through until the end
* Self-motivated with a positive outlook
* Good communicator
* Good organizational and written skills
* Enjoys solving problems
* Good positive mental attitude, “Whatever it takes”, “Can Do” attitude
* IT literate with good working knowledge of all relevant Microsoft Office applications
Other Job Requirements:
* This position requires a professional demeanour and an orientation toward excellent customer services
* Must dress in a professional manner
* Must have a valid driving license and good driving record
Work Schedule:
* Must be willing and able to drive long distances and be willing to stay away from home Mon – Fri for the period of this contact
The ideal candidate would be someone who has some basic IT comms skills and who is looking to develop their career in this line of work.
In return they will be paying £150 per day, with all accommodation, food and travel costs covered, and also due to the nature of the contract you will have to work in two-man teams at all times.
The client is hoping to interview immediately, looking and looking for someone to start in September.
