We are looking for a Site Manager to work on a commercial and residential new build development. The position will start on a freelance basis with a view to a permanent position later down the line.
Role Overview:
The Site Manager will oversee the daily operations of the construction site for a well-being facility, ensuring timely, within-budget completion, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision: Manage on-site activities, ensuring compliance with plans and safety regulations. Coordinate subcontractors and labor to maintain quality and progress.
Health & Safety: Implement safety protocols, conduct inspections, and ensure environmental compliance.
Project Coordination: Liaise with the Project Manager, update schedules, and resolve on-site issues.
Budget Management: Monitor costs, optimize resources, and report potential savings or risks.
Reporting: Maintain site records, prepare progress reports, and ensure documentation is up to date.
Qualifications:
Education: Degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in site management, preferably in well-being or healthcare facilities.
Certifications: NEBOSH, SMSTS, or equivalent safety certifications.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, and familiarity with construction processes and project management software.
Work Environment:
On-site with potential extended hours. PPE required.
