Brief Overview of the role
We're in search of an exceptional Year 6 Teacher to join our vibrant team at our Ofsted-rated 'Good' primary school in Wednesbury. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in Education or a related field. With proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, including supporting pupils on the lead-up to SATs and preparing them for this important milestone, they will excel in creating and delivering engaging, differentiated lesson plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering captivating lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and schemes of work. They will assess, monitor, and record students' progress and achievements, ensuring they are well-prepared for external examinations. Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues is key, both within and beyond the school community. Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for teaching in the UK.
A bachelor's degree in education or a related subject is required.
Proven Experience Teaching Key Stage 2
Experience in designing lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Knowledge of various assessment methods to monitor and evaluate student progress effectively.
Strong Understanding of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum
Ability to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Enhanced DBS Clearance: Required for working with children, or a willingness to obtain one.
