HR Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract- 7 months)
Based in Ealing, West London / Hybrid working
Salary: £28,000 per annum
35 Hours per week

Joining us on a full time, fixed-term, and hybrid working basis, you will be responsible in supporting HR team in performing all aspects of Human Resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To be responsible for the development and implementation of Kumon’s policies and procedures.
* To be responsible for preparing contracts, conducting DBS checks, performing reference checks, conducting Induction
* To arrange, attend and participate in interviews, disciplinary and grievance hearings as required.
* To support the implementation of organisational change including structural, cultural and/or business planning changes within the organisation.
* To produce and revise job descriptions and person specifications, as well as undertaking evaluation of posts, as and when required.
* To forge links with external organisations to negotiate and provide best practice service in a cost effective way. This includes but is not limited to employment agencies and or advertising channels in a cost effective way.
* To liaise closely with other Kumon stakeholders within the organisation to ensure the maximum level of HR best practice and service.
* To work closely with the HR Manager and all Managers to support all activities within Kumon.
* To work with the HR Manager and other HR team members to introduce new initiatives, policies and procedures to enhance Associate understanding and ‘buy in’.
* In conjunction with other HR team members, advise and take appropriate actions in order to maintain and uphold high standards of conduct and Associate expectation, including but not limited to matters that would arise under Health and Safety regulations.
* To be proactive, positive and professional in all Kumon activities by making contributions in the form of suggestions and proposals for the improvement of the job function, performance or any area that will enhance or improve the service the HR team provides.
* To assist with any day to day activity that may be undertaken in order to maintain best quality service and performance levels of the organisation during periods of difficulty.
