My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Analyst to support our Data Growth Programme. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within our growth strategy, focusing on the efficient management of resources, timelines, and risks. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large-scale programmes, with a strong background in data management, growth initiatives, and PMO operations.
The role is initially a three-month contract with potential to be extended. The role is a full time, 40 hours per week and a hybrid opportunity. You will be expected to be onsite two days a week in their Solihull office for in person collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive PMO support for the Data Growth Programme, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Work closely with the Programme Manager and project teams to monitor and track progress, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are met.
Manage and maintain the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log, ensuring all items are identified, documented, and tracked.
Facilitate regular RAID review meetings, escalating critical risks and issues to the Programme Manager.
Coordinate mitigation strategies with stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Prepare and distribute regular report packs, including status updates, progress reports, and performance metrics, for senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in all reports, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Maintain programme documentation, ensuring all records are up to date and accessible.
Ensure adherence to programme governance frameworks, including the application of PMO best practices.
Monitor compliance with project management standards and methodologies, implementing improvements where necessary.
Support the Programme Manager in preparing for governance meetings, including Steering Committee and Project Board meetings.
Support the management and growth of data assets, ensuring alignment with the overall data strategy.
Collaborate with data teams to understand data needs, growth patterns, and scalability requirements.
Assist in the development of data governance frameworks and processes to support data quality and integrity.
Act as a key point of contact for all PMO-related activities within the Data Growth Programme.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on programme objectives.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and other collaborative sessions as required.
Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field ideal
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or the equivalent
Proven experience in a PMO role, preferably within a data-centric environment or large-scale growth programmes.
Strong understanding of RAID management and experience in maintaining RAID logs.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence) and reporting software (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
Experience in data governance or data management initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
