Customer Support Agent - Network Monitoring
My major telecoms company is looking for a network monitoring agent to join its busy call response team working on a 24/7 shift pattern.
You will be monitoring my client's customers network and be required to accurately log, update and close event management tickets in a quality and timely manner and take the required corrective action where quality issues are identified. This will involve liaising with the actual technical support teams and end customers providing remote support to give both a high level of operational customer support and customer service.
Ideally you will have some experience of either there network or server monitoring but this is not a directly technical role itself.
Required Skills
Technical fault coordination and wide IT / communications understanding
Excellent Customer Focus
Experience in dealing with internal and external Customers/Suppliers
Good PC skills including MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Used to working a 24/7 shift patternDesirable Skills
Network or Server monitoring experience such as Solar Winds, SCOM, Intuity, True Sight
Use of an IT Ticketing platform - BMC Remedy or similar
IT Event Management experience The role is a hybrid role with a mix of office based work and WFH on a 24/7 shift pattern. There is a 25% rate increase for all night shifts
