I am recruiting for an Interim (potentially interim to permanent) opportunity based in Hereford.
My client requires a 'hands on' Financial Controller/ Head of Finance.
Directly reporting into the Finance Director, this role requires somebody able to role their sleeves up. Daily responsibilities will include: running payroll / VAT returns / BACS runs / preparing and producing commentary on the management accounts, preparing forecasts and supporting the Finance Director with 'high level, detailed reporting.' Other responsibilities will include mentoring and managing the existing finance team (delegating tasks and checking over.)
To be successful within this opportunity, you will be a Qualified Accountant with experience working within a similar role within a SME environment. Experience working within a Manufacturing business is advantageous. My client will consider a professional contractor or somebody considering an interim to permanent opportunity. My client is office based five days a week.
