Senior Facilities Officer

We are currently looking for a hands-on Senior Facilities Officer to join our team in Newham. The Candidate must have the following skills; plumbing, carpentry, flooring, minor electrics, etc, and have an interest in a management/procurement role.
The Role:
This role is 70% Maintenance Team Leader and 30% supporting the Manager.
This post will ideally suit someone who is currently employed as an In-house Maintenance Manager/Supervisor Or is currently a Maintenance Operative and is interested in progressing into management.
The post holder must have the following skills; plumbing, carpentry, flooring, minor electrics, etc. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday; 8.00 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. (36 hours per week). However, as the depot operates 24/7, you must be willing to work late evenings and weekends when required.
You will be joining a high performing team at Folkestone Road Depot, which is committed to ensuring that the depot is compliant and well maintained. The primary purpose of this role will be to support the Building Services Manager to deliver an efficient and effective facilities management service:
