Job Opportunity: Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Taunton

Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Taunton
Salary: £85 to £95 per day
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
• Work closely with the teacher to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with academic, social, and emotional development to ensure every child reaches their potential.
• Develop strong, supportive relationships with students, encouraging independence and confidence.
• Help with any additional care or support needs, including personal or medical care if required.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
• Experience with SEN students is a plus, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive and flexible attitude to adapt to the needs of the students.
