About the role: KS1 TA: We are looking for a compassionate and proactive KS1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a vibrant primary school in Cricklewood, London. In this part-time role, you will support young learners in boosters and intervention sessions, helping them to thrive academically and socially. If you have a passion for working with children, particularly in a Key Stage 1 setting, and want to make a real difference, this role could be perfect for you! Your primary focus will be supporting students who need that extra bit of help to catch up, particularly in reading, writing, and numeracy. You will work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis to help boost confidence and skills, ensuring each child has the support they need to succeed.

Application Requirements:
• A relevant Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is preferred.
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 children or SEN students is beneficial.
• A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping young learners.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Right to work in the UK and a willingness to undergo a DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support KS1 students in core subjects, focusing on boosters and interventions to help children meet their learning goals.
• Work closely with the class teacher to adapt lesson plans to suit individual learning needs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support for students requiring extra assistance.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, encouraging learning environment.
• Assist with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students, helping them integrate into class activities and providing personalised support.
