Associate Lecturer in Digital
Location: Manchester
Salary: £35 per hour teaching, £20 prep rate
Contracts Date: Monday 30th September to Friday 1st November 2024

The Role
They are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Associate Lecturer in Digital to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in digital technologies, programming, and web development who are passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation of digital innovators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching across various digital subjects, with a focus on programming, software development, and web development.
* Develop and deliver engaging course content that meets the needs of diverse learners.
* Provide academic support and mentorship to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
* Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the digital curriculum.
* Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and other activities that support the academic mission of UA92.
Required Specialisms:
* Software Design
Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Computer Science, Digital Technology, or a related field is essential. A postgraduate qualification and/or industry certifications would be advantageous.
* Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting is desirable but not essential. They welcome applications from industry professionals with substantial practical experience.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports all students.
