Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team in Oxfordshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and support young learners in their educational journey, fostering a love for learning and helping them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students in the class.
Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Classroom Management:
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
Lesson Planning:
Prepare creative and differentiated lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
Incorporate a range of teaching techniques, resources, and activities to maintain student engagement.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leadership to ensure continuity of education.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and areas for improvement.
Curriculum Delivery:
Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of students.
Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning across all subjects.
Professional Development:
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Safeguarding & Welfare:
Ensure the safety and welfare of all students in your care, following school policies and procedures on safeguarding and child protection.
Address any concerns about student welfare in collaboration with the school's designated safeguarding lead.Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting (KS1 or KS2).
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about working with young children.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement.Desirable:
Experience in leading extracurricular activities or school projects.
Additional qualifications in special education, EAL, or other areas of educational need.Benefits:
