Are you an experienced Project Planner with a strong background in utilities, infrastructure, or civil engineering? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment, managing complex schedules and ensuring projects run on time and within scope?

This is a great opportunity on the freelance side, to work for a fast expanding family run company, with a choice of 4 offices to work in.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements.
Work closely with key departments throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to post-construction.
Produce and manage detailed project programmes, tracking progress to ensure adherence to the schedule.
Develop comprehensive NEC Agreed project plans, including scope, deliverables, tasks, and timelines using MS Project or similar project management software.
Identify critical path activities and dependencies to optimise project timelines.
Generate and present regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
Provide updates on project status, milestones, and any variances from the original plan.
Assist in identifying risks and uncertainties, developing risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team.
Manage changes to project schedules due to scope changes or unforeseen events, communicating adjustments to PMs and stakeholders.
Ensure Subcontractor and Supplier programmes are integrated into the overall project plan. Skills & Experience:
Solid understanding of project planning, scheduling, and resource management concepts.
Ability to analyse project data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
Strong ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
Knowledge of scheduling techniques, including Gantt charts and critical path analysis.
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project schedules and documentation.
Ability to adapt and manage schedule adjustments as needed.
Experience within utilities, infrastructure, or civil engineering disciplines.
Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or project management.
Familiarity with NEC Contract Conditions is essential. This list of responsibilities is indicative of the core role but not exhaustive.
