About the role: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our wonderful primary school in Hounslow. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting children with severe special educational needs (SEN), helping them to thrive academically and socially. Your work will involve collaborating closely with teachers to deliver high-quality lessons, providing tailored support to individuals and small groups, and stepping in for the teacher when needed. You must be dedicated to creating an inclusive, engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported. Application Requirements:
• Must have previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar role.
• Experience working with students with severe SEN needs is essential.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A passion for education and SEN support.
• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Providing 1:1 and group support for students with SEN.
• Leading small group sessions and occasionally covering lessons.
• Developing individual education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Supporting the emotional and social development of students.
