Senior Content Designer (FinTech/Payments) – 6-Month Contract
* Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Hybrid (Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Rate: £50 - £55 per hour

The aim of your work will be to simplify the customer experience, helping merchants find, engage, and manage their customers effortlessly. The role centres around making payments seamless, helping businesses get paid, and allowing owners to feel confident in managing their operations. Key Responsibilities
Plan and craft UX content across web and mobile platforms (including user interface copy, navigation, emails, in-app notifications, chatbots, and help content).
Collaborate closely with design teams to ensure seamless integration of page layout, interactions, and visual tone.
Use data-driven insights to identify experience gaps and customer pain points, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
Define and drive content strategy within the problem-solving space, ensuring a clear direction for all content-related activities.
Coordinate with content designers across teams, providing insights gathered from customer research.
Evaluate content performance through data and research, pushing for continuous improvements that result in measurable outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of professional writing experience, focused on web or mobile product content.
Exceptional writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Familiarity with content standards, including voice and tone guidelines.
Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, manage stakeholder expectations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience within financial services, payments, B2B or B2C e-commerce sectors is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, or related fields.
Key Technical Skills
Expertise in Content Design, including information architecture and UX writing.
Proficiency in Figma, with knowledge of Jira, MS Suite, and Miro as an added bonus.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience managing feedback loops.
Experience working within legal and style guidelines.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functions.
