Controls Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Employment Type: Limited Company (LTD) role, outside of IR35

Rate: £34p/h

Contract Duration: 3 months rolling

Panama Shift Pattern Days and Nights

The day-to-day responsibilities of the controls engineer will involve the following.

You will be part of a maintenance team which will be tasked to keep production up and running.

90 percent will be reactive maintenance and 10 percent will be getting involved in some projects and helping to establish a PPM schedule.

You will be working on HMI’s, control systems, communication systems and more,

You will be carrying out 3 phase installation, fault finding.

PLC fault finding along with Logix reading

The Controls Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.

Experienced Controls Engineer

Electrical engineering qualification

Must have previous experience with HMI’s PLC Architecture, control systems, limit switches, field devices etc

Experience with working on Allen Bradley PLC’s

Must be able to pass and drugs and alcohol test
