The school is looking for a long term primary teaching assistant to support in primary. The school is looking for experience and relevant qualifications.

Immediate start and lasting for the duration of the 2024-25 academic year, this primary teaching assistant role is based at a progressive and wonderful Primary School in Ealing, and will allow you to get fully immersed within day-to-day life of a busy, vibrant Primary School; learning from experienced teachers every day.

Training and Induction provided and regular CPD sessions availableAs a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and whole-class support for pupils of all abilities, including some pupils who have SEN. You will work very closely with Class Teachers and be expected to confidently deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to drive up attainment levels within literacy and numeracy. You will monitor pupil progress and encourage social skills.

Primary Teaching Assistant: Job Requirements

Strong subject knowledge within English and Maths

A desire to inspire young people and unlock their learning potential

Enthusiastic, confident and approachable personality

Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils

Ability to remain calm even in stressful situations
