Position: Tax Manager (CTA-Qualified)
Job Type: 6 months contract, Part-Time 3 Days Per Week
Daily Rate: £400-£450 per day
Location: UK Remote, WFH
Experience: 5+ years post-qualification
Focus: 65% tax work, 35% client management
Are you an experienced Tax Manager looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Tax Manager to join our team and take on a critical role in managing tax compliance, providing strategic tax advice, and building strong client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Manager who is passionate about optimizing tax efficiencies and helping clients achieve their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Taxation:
As a Tax Manager, manage and oversee corporate tax compliance for various clients.
Provide strategic tax planning and advice to optimize tax efficiencies and compliance.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and computations.
1. R&D Claims:
Lead the preparation and submission of R&D tax credit claims as a Tax Manager.
Work closely with clients to identify qualifying R&D activities and expenditures.
Liaise with HMRC or relevant tax authorities on R&D claims and queries.
1. Restructuring:
As a Tax Manager, advise on tax-efficient corporate restructures and reorganizations.
Support clients in navigating the tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Develop restructuring strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.
1. Property Tax Advice:
Provide expert guidance as a Tax Manager on property-related tax matters, including transactions and investments.
Analyze tax implications of property developments, acquisitions, and disposals.
Assist in structuring property deals to minimize tax liabilities and maximize returns.
1. Client Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of corporate clients as a Tax Manager.
Build strong client relationships based on trust and expert tax advice.
Understand clients' needs and deliver tailored tax solutions aligned with their goals.
Qualifications:
* Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification is essential.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services environment.
* In-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and regulations.
* Proven experience in handling R&D tax credits, corporate restructures, and property tax matters.
* Strong client management and communication skills.
