Civil Technician
Title: Civil Technician
Location: Edinburgh
Contract rate: £30-£38 P/H
Contract length: 6-12 months
Our client prides themselves on being at the forefront of multidisciplinary engineering design by working intimately with the client and providing design solutions that meet the requirements of the modern day. They are seeking an experienced Civil Technician to join their Edinburgh office on a contract basis (full-time).
The ideal Civil Engineer will have a track record of producing various roads, drainage and general infrastructure designs across multiple sectors that include education, industrial, residential, stadia, leisure facilities, breweries and distilleries and commercial units.
Within this role, you will be entrusted to lead smaller projects whilst contributing to larger projects as part of a wider design team - typically a headcount of around 10.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE CIVIL TECHNICIAN
HNC/HND in civil/structural engineering.
Civils 3D experience.
Development background - roads and drainage.
Experience of working on cut and fill projects.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable leading projects
