About the role: As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, your primary focus will be assisting low-achieving students and those with mild SEN needs, including ADHD. You’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with boosters and interventions, helping them thrive academically and socially. You’ll work closely with class teachers to create a positive learning environment and offer one-on-one or small group support to ensure every student has the chance to succeed. This part-time role is ideal for someone who is patient, adaptable, and dedicated to making a difference in children’s lives.

Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children, particularly in an educational or childcare setting.
• Knowledge or experience with SEN, especially ADHD.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted support to students with special educational needs (SEN), particularly those with ADHD and mild learning difficulties.
• Assist teachers with planning and delivering intervention sessions.
• Work with pupils in small groups or one-on-one settings to boost confidence and academic performance.
• Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere to help pupils achieve their potential.
• Help manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies.
