Full Time Contract (6 Months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Payroll Administrator in Greenwhich. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
To assist with the operational aspects of the organisation's Payroll Service's process and procedures.
To contribute to ensuring that over 10,000 staff are paid (in excess of £200m) accurately and in a timely manner.
To support the service undertaking a range of administrative activities in the day to day operation of the Service
To create records on the Payroll System for new starters, leavers and variations and to maintain and revise employee as necessary, liaising with relevant department or organisations as appropriate
Ensure that paperwork is completed and checked correctly for Audit purposes. Ensure that all documents are stored correctly and in a timely mannerThe candidate:
Experience working in a similar role is essential
Experience working in a similar role for a local authority is desirable
